The UO Library’s Center For Media and Educational Technologies (CMET) supports a few select classrooms within Lawrence Hall and Pacific Halls. The broad term for these different services is “video Conferencing,” but they vary significantly in quality, reliability, and feature set.
Many different technologies allow multiple geographic locations to transmit live video, audio, and data feeds to each other in real-time over the internet.
